first thing we did after the first squib was clean the holy shit out of it. you could have started a campfire aligning the bore between the sun and a tinder pile lol
I still shoot these often and have yet to get one stuck. I got a single shot Ithaca m49 just for the purpose of shooting these. 20 grain at ~500 fps dispatches most pests withing backyard distance. I still think they are quieter than any spring pellet gun.
I use the Colibri in an old H&R western style revolver. Last time I used it was at least six months ago when I snuck up on a skunk! I had to get about 10 ft. away from him and he couldn't tell where the first shot came from ..........and didn't care, just kept on munching on the grubs, etc. Ended up shooting him twice more before he died!
