Looked around for some AA1680 today, No luck.

Ran across some Reloader 7 and 4198 which ice read some have good luck with but decided to hold off and wait for the best bet instead.

Have had good luck w AA5744 on Subs. Plenty of powder now need to grab some more 208AMAXs.

I've got about 600 supers to load up as well - 110gr Vmax. I just need to grab some H110.

I'm having good luck with 4227 for now and will probably stick with it.

17.4gr gives full case capacity without compression. Meters really well also.

Decided I'm going to stick with that load. Got 2042fps ave over 5 shots. ES of 13 using mixed brass. I could push them a little faster but don't really feel any need.

Groups earlier were 1.6moa, but I think it has a lot to do with using an EoTech and sightmark magnifier. Could probably bing them down to 1.25moa with a better optic. Plenty for what I will consider a 150yard round.

For about $400 you can pick up a Ruger RARR in .300bo. A frigging bargain and more accurate than the Remington 700 I had at almost half the price and half the weight.

One of the best things you can do to reduce group size especially if youre mixing headstamps is to run a medium crimp with a lee factory crimp die. Gives each round more consistent neck tension. Ive mainly used 1680 for subs and have had good luck but best groups are with the same brass and a little crimp. Its the only rifle round I crimp.

Supers H110 will get you good speed and full case volume at max powder charge. I run 20gr under a 110 and that gets me 1950fps out of my 6", 2200fps out of my 8" and 2440 out of my 16". I think you will find the extra couple hundred fps makes good difference on soft tissue but if youre just plinking or only plan to shoot a coyote at 100yds its more than enough to get the job done.

Yeah, I'm crimping them. Some of the bullets I use have a flat base so flare-seat-crimp is a given.

Just got a sample of 203gn Palmetto coated to try in my AR.

I loaded and pulled a couple to make sure the coating wasn't getting scraped off. I still don't feel real comfortable putting them through my can but I plan on recovering some to inspect.

Both SilencerTalk and 300BLKTalk have threads where these are good to go, no leading. I'd like to see how it work for you first though. ha ha

Let me know when you get them in. I like to get a couple pockets full of supplies when I go by your house.
