My vote is for an ISSC Austrian M22.

I got one of these when they first came out on Centerfiresystems.
They were CHEEEEP (inexpensive) like at $149.
The word got out on these, and prices went up to $199

They are modeled on the Glock but do not take down or have the same trigger configurations.
My pistol runs 100% of the time with Remington Thunderbolt, but has issues cycling with Winchester Super X ammo.
EDIT: Forgot to add they run excellent with CCI ammo as well.

Mags for this pistol seem to be $50 per.

The bolded bit is why the M22 is off my list - LGS has one, and frankly I hate the ergos. That and the slide-mounted safety just feels... strange.
