You can still find the 50 rd boxes occasionally, but vista (owners of speer and federal) have stated multiple times that boxes of 50 were for leo only

I know I was just teasing ,but my lgs does keep the 50 round count in 45 acp in stock, but not 9mm. I guess leo just doesn't as a whole carry 45 acp anymore so they can sell 50 round boxes of that to us mere civilians.
