Started another project, I finished milling and cutting the new receiver and am using a propane torch to remove parts from the cut receiver. One of those projects I'm finally getting around to...............this one is going to be more challenging than some of the others in that some of the parts when torch cut are going to have to be re-welded together.....the receiver cap lock ring was cut into with the torch and I'm thinking I might put the receiver piece in the lathe and bore out the old receiver from the ring. I started the RIA 10mm project today and will do another thread on that one......
This will be a Post Dealer Sample (PDS) build and registered accordingly...............
The left side of the receiver.................
The right side of the receiver...........
I removed the rear sight and receiver cap lock. You can see how the torch cut into the receiver ring...............
the stock was brazed (as all the parts) on to the receiver and why I have to use a torch to remove them.............
You can see the brazing on the receiver piece and the stock...
The full kit....somehow I ended up with two barrels..................
