    For functional grips, i like Lok grips, though i am a huge fan of USGI brown plastic.

    Some guys will buy ancient mammoth tusks because they somehow aren't carrying around a big enough fossil as it is.

    I have a set of sweetheart grips on my Springfield G.I. M1911A1 with Carole Landis on them. When I bought them, I was looking for a picture of a "girl next door" type from the 1940s, and thought she fit the bill!

    She was an angel who left this earth far too soon!

    I have a WW11 set which my uncle brought back, I enjoy finding Noseart pics and cutting for the fit...I have real ivory, real old stag and a variety of USMC and Texas grips, but my NationalMatch wears the sweethearts!

    Grey over-molded wraparound grips from Hogue arrived today and some new grip screws

    Feel good so far....will take a trip at the range to try them out
