The last theory I read on arfcom was that it wasnt the sheriff's phone, it was the daughters. The Dad found nasty texts from the judge and came to confront him.

This stroy went from the judge being a pedo to the sheriff failing to investigate another officer accused of raping several defendants. At least from what I have read on Fox News. Very strange case, I would love to read up on the actual facts of the case as they come out in court and are supported by evidence.

Death by this method is not far-fetched. Even 30 years ago when I had personal contact with the industry folks, insanely large and heavy tools were available on a limited basis. These days such things are regular catalog items.
