The big protest is happening in Houston tomorrow. Fridays protest was only 2k people, this one is expected to bring between 5-20k. Hopefully, there's a torrential downpour.

Slightly higher than normal police presence around city hall, but I dont see anyone acting a fool yet. I took a stroll through the streets during lunch, all seems relatively normal from my perspective. I have an off site meeting tomorrow so I wont be downtown to report on the shit show.

Not too worried out here in Cypress, but supposedly there's going to be a "demonstration" at the local Costco next week. Either way, loaded a few more mags because why not? Had one of those ever famous "huh, don't remember buying that case. Or that one." moments too.

Still not concerned enough to get into the stash of new in the package mags. Probably should check up with my neighbor friends and make sure they're all set though, esp. the nearly retired Sheriff's deputy and retired HPD guy. They're great folks with kids who aren't too far out of the nest (a few also in LE), but at least they all live out here in the 'burbs too.

All it takes is one well placed agitator to ignite the powder keg, and it can get sideways pretty quickly.

My employer just sent out an email asking us to work from home if possible, and to be out of the building by 1pm if that's not possible. Looks like we are stepping up security and taking extra safety precautions ahead of tomorrow's 3pm planned protest.
