AR ammo prices at gun shows tain't ever anything to be serious about. To me, it's more of the freakshow aisle at a circus. Interesting to look at, but for chrimmney sake, don't stop !! Keep walking !!

Oddly, it was pretty quiet at first but seemed to get crowded around 10:30. Got to talk to the usual suspects, saw some friends and despite my bitching about it being the "same-old-same-old," just as we were leaving I decided to do a quick re-attack on one aisle for some reason and found a real nice pair of wooden Hungarian AMD grips at a decent price!

Unfortunately, it wasn't until I got home that I realized these grips required a full-sized screw whereas the rubber ones that were on my -65 had short screws on them.

I may have a set tomorrow, otherwise I will have to go hunting for some. Strangely, of all the odd AK bits and pieces I have laying around, the one thing I don't have are a couple of these dang screws!

Otherwise, there wasn't too much to get excited about. Lots of guns and ammo, but prices on the latter (especially .22LR) are still high. Seems like there was more non-gun vendors this time as well.

u might be on to somethin there. I don't get a chance to walk the shows but I also observed the same from my looking glass. also observed lots of neckbeard vendors who brought nothing to the table but BS and shit pricing. Me, however, I'm awesome.
