Well finally Ruger put another attitude relic from old man Bill's past to rest.

The new factory made 10/22 magazine if available for <$30.

Nice! Hope its as reliable as the 10round ones are. I've never seen a large 10/22 mag that was anywhere near as reliable as the factory 10 round ones.

Just purchased 4 from the local shop, and a new stainless 10/22 target. I'll post a range report saturday.

My butler creek clear mag works good, 30 for a mag seems high to me.

I want to get some of these and test them.

I have 3 of the 10 rounders and the only time they've ever given me a malfunction is with Eley EPS ammo which uses a flat point bullet designed for single shot bolt rifles.

Are the feed lips metal or plastic??? I might try some in my Scorpion... I like the BC steel lips mag for it...

I bought 2 from Ruger's site, and function tested them last weekend. They performed great, no hiccups. Feed lips are steel, quality is very solid.

+1 I hope this is better than the aftermarket ones that jam after about 5 rounds.

I got a free aftermarket Ruger mag and it jammed up every round. After the third round I took it out and threw it in the trashcan at the range, LOL.

I will wait for the guys who have suppressors and machibeguns to weigh in as Both are very dirty and the ruger 10 round mags suffer more from gunk and crud buildup than any other reason.
