Yes. Electing a pro-gun D supports a D House or Senate majority. The majority sets the legislative agenda and runs the committees. Schumer and Pelosi will put anti-gun bills up for a vote, and tell that pro-gun D to play ball or be sidelined with an office in the basement latrine stall.

Hard to say it, but it would have been much better for Gun Owners if Beto had beaten Cornyn in 2020. He seriously considered running for Cornyn's spot but made the ill-fated ego-move to run for President instead.

There is no way he could have gotten the anti-gun legislation through like Cornyn!
