Have a fun one from my retired neighbor.

He got a C8 Corvette about a year ago, and he loves driving around the neighborhood, revving the motor like a teenager.

He’s also super random. Called me one day to ask me how much a jet airliner weighs…

Got a call this morning. He wants to take me riding around in his Corvette while he runs errands and gets a car wash.

I told him I really can’t…I work from home, we have kids, yada yea

He says let’s do it Saturday!

    I declined.

He got annoyed and hung up on me

    Never decline.

A Major I was in Army with got a phone call from an Old Guy he barely knew. Old Guy was ill in bed, wanted Major to visit.

    Major went, just small talk.

A few weeks later, Major got a call. It was Old Guy’s Attorney. Old Guy had died. He had left Major a 3,700ac ranch in will.

    Quien sabe ?

It sounds like he needs a wingman?
Maybe buy him one of those realistic passenger dummies folks use in the HOV lane?

I sold a gun a few weeks ago, met the guy in a CVS parking lot. He was driving a brand new C8, his friends car. His friend wanted him to put some miles on it.

When their apartment/garage conversion was being built, I asked my MIL to stop washing dishes before putting them in the dishwasher.

Tonight, we had a big dinner for Dani the au pair, tomorrow is her last day.

I had to put the kids to sleep, MIL decided to “help” with the dishes.

Now my kitchen is flooded with soapy water.

Did she put dishwashing soap in the machine instead of dishwasher tablets/liquid ?

Yeah they pre-wash everything with dish soap. Like, a lot of dish soap. We went thru about a bottle a week when they lived here. We go thru a bottle every few months now that they have their own-ish place LOL

It irritated me back then, still does I guess

But I have an expensive machine that does these things so she can spend that time with the kids…that’s the point that gets lost in translation, methinks

And I still find paper towels all over the fucking place
