Yeah, I went to school with several of the original Cuban refugees 60+years ago, and even a Fidelista communist.
Plenty of the Vietnamese died trying to stop it from happening, just like Afghans did with the Taliban. No problem with those folks, nor the Ukrainians with the Russian scum.
Those are real political refugees, not the economic ones like we see today.
But we haven’t seen the Venezuelans attempting it yet.
The Cubans talk a lot about it now & then, but don’t step up like Fidel did in the 1950s.
