I used to be there all the time and was even a member for a few years. It was a great place back in the day and I can only hope it's gotten better.

I haven't been to that range. I'll check it out. Bayou Rifles is the one I'm at and their 100 yard range has been down for maintenance all summer. I need to go with a friend to greenwood or another place with 100 yards to sight in my new scope. I was going to settle on Big Kountry's 50 yard range.

Its nice too, we love it. Dustin has started shooting his race 19 at the steel. The looks we get when he pistols up to the line are quite funny and then they change when he starts at 100 with ping-ping-ping. He can also hit about 1 out of 5 or six out at 300 if Im spottin for him. Thats also with standard open sights, no redot.

    Niice.

I haven't looked that closely, what distances did they put the steel? 100 and 300?

1 - 2 - and 3 last I was there. Been about a month and its a work in progress. Not sure but I believe Dustin mentioned some stuff way down to the left on the 50 line also.

Ah sweet, they're going all in. I noticed the email a while back saying quit shooting the steel with M855 ammo. Some people I swear...

I see that one of the noob shooter ladies (coworker) I’ve invited to the PSC ladies Saturday class has already registered for the class. And another coworker texted me back and said she’s excited about going.

And, wait a minute, a third lady I met at the town farmer’s market and told about it shows her name on the registration event too.

Whooo hoooo! I’ll update if they actually make it.

I looked into it when I lived closer, but I didn't like the mandatory NRA membership. I definitely don't like it now.

Two of the ladies I invited came to the class and I loaned them guns and gear and ammo.

It was a good class but the sun shining made it very hot by 11:30 and once again, I came home and slept all afternoon due to being exhausted from getting so hot.

No way I was going to come back for more on Sunday for Steel Challenge. Maybe next month.
