I called a very good friend of mine (who was a pastor for a while and graduated from a Baptist Seminary with me) to talk about my recent move to Texas. One of the first differences I commented on was the sense that you don't have to constantly feel defensive about being Christian and going to church. It's a strange feeling to feel like I can discuss my beliefs with people here. It's a very different place in that regard.

They 'let her'?!? Aww, such generosity.

She was spineless and had no real conviction or faith if she complied with their instruction.

Folks I don't give a crap if you believe in the tooth fairy, but if you don't stand up for your beliefs you may as well not have any.
