    When I've got a full beard, there's almost nothing that instantly gives me a deeper sense of well-being than for a baby to look at it quizzically, reach in, and grab a couple of handfuls.

    Yeah, that doesn't feel so great to me - especially when she thinks it'll support her weight if she leans back. Not easy to explain to a 2 year old.

    Haha right? I don't think I would have gotten this far without my wife getting upset every time I even joke about trimming it she's all for me being a grizzly man I had to draw the line at growing my hair out though.

    i always wear a beard.

    but i have to keep it reasonable for work. though i have gotten it to 6 inches in length in the past.

    Well, as I got older, I got gray, and to get the gray out, I shaved my beard which I had most of my life since 15. Hair is still original color, but beard when white.
