tag. I'm in houston quite a bit. How about the Chicken Fried Steaks at Hickory Hollow? They've been on the Food Network...

If you want Chicken Fried Steak have to go to Mel's in Tomball. I've never been impressed with Hickory Hollow's food. Good but not "great."

What is NW considered these day BTW? LOL!

Yeah, evening news says NW Harris County and they are talking about that area. SMDH, that's not NW Harris County by any stretch of the imagination.

There's Kilburn's Tavern on 290/Barker. I think they have an outdoor patio. I know I've smoked cigars at the one over on Grant and Malcomson.

Backyard Grille on West/Jones has some really good burgers and a huge selection of local brews, there's an outdoor section to the left of the front doors and I think that's the only "smoking" area they offer.

Well I have been eating there for at lease that long and it doesn't seem to have changed IMO.
