Has anyone seen the Tsuchinshan comet?

Seems like everyone but me...my daughter and I looked last night. I'm guessing we went out too late - it's supposedly visible right after sunset. Local community groups on Facebook (and multiple friends of mine) are posting some pretty cool photos of it.

Is anyone other than me offended (by the attempt to erase/cover-up history and ignore tradition) by referring to today’s holiday as “indigenous peoples day” instead of “Columbus Day”?

I'm still waiting for St Brendan the Navigator Day. He was the first European to set foot in the Americas (and the first Irishman). Then 500 years later (give or take), Leif Erikson followed. Then Columbus lollygagged his way over 500 years after that, and didn't even bother to go all the way, preferring to call it done when he reached the Bahamas.

    It's all a damn scam.
