What? Did someone take the last cup again ?
You’d think we were back at the office...
I'm getting use to that!
Seems to be a regular thing here.

You're smarter than me. I've been in the process of rearranging my computer desk and my computer was temporarily plugged directly into the wall.Ours just blinked, again.
I shut off my electronics for the time being.
Morning y'all
Morning.
You're smarter than me. I've been in the process of rearranging my computer desk and my computer was temporarily plugged directly into the wall.
I'll be using my phone to order parts for a new computer today.
Oh, well. I needed a new one, anyway.
Yeah. I'm not sure what got fried but with a computer this old it's not worth the bother to figure out.Damn Ben, that sucks.
I would triple the recommended grounding on that generator. Grounding is paramount to keep them in good working order.Know the feeling ...
Hoping like hell the $8k I just spent on a whole house generator will make not being able to stock a freezer, without risking losing most of it, a thing of the past.
Been on my bucket list for years of living on the Gulf coast.
You have the worst electrical serviceThat sucks.

I wouldn't. Lightning will take the path of least resistance.I would triple the recommended grounding on that generator. Grounding is paramount to keep them in good working order.

A mouse could fart and yours is out
Would the utility equipment grounding being sub par change that logic? Or sandy conditions?I wouldn't. Lightning will take the path of least resistance.
The better your grounding is, the better chance the spike comes through your equipment to earth ground. Let the utility equipment bleed the lightning off and you're better off. The automatic transfer switch doesn't break ground. Does it?
