News just reported that there have been at least 21 confirmed deaths in this week's storms. Don't know if there are any new results from the one that just moved through Dallas and Canton. Here in Houston it looks like we get another taste in the wee hours tomorrow morning, but nothing like the recent mess that left thousands without power for days and is estimated to have cost $5 to $6 billion in damages.

The good news? We still have 4 days to the start of hurricane season. The bad news? The early NOAA predictions call for the busiest tropical season on record. :-/

Where are you?

'Bout 200 miles south of you, in the middle of the Big Thicket.

Storm lasted about 2hrs, moved on East.
No damage, power stayed on, all good.

The power is on here, we are Grayson/Collin co-op. Friend down the road is still out, he is on ONCOR. He has a small generator to run the freezer and fridge, but no A/C. They are heading this way with an ample supply of adult beverages.

Finally got all of the downed trees and tree limbs moved, cut to the size the city wants and stacked
at the curb for pick up on Thursday. talk about a pain in the ass entire body. I'm getting a tad to old for
this kind of work. Half of the small tree that fell on my truck didn't do any damage that I could see. I
park beside it so it didn't have far to fall.

I feel kinda lucky after watching, my across the street and 2 houses up, neighbor pull, cut and remove
the tree that fell on his car and truck.

Now I hear there is another storm building and heading my way.And the tornado that hit was about
1 mile as the crow flies, from me.
