Well, damn. The storm took out part of a small tree and laid it across the hood of my truck.
Won't know if very much damage until the rain stops and I take some pictures.
Front and side of my house looks OK but will check out the back when I can.

News just reported that there have been at least 21 confirmed deaths in this week's storms. Don't know if there are any new results from the one that just moved through Dallas and Canton. Here in Houston it looks like we get another taste in the wee hours tomorrow morning, but nothing like the recent mess that left thousands without power for days and is estimated to have cost $5 to $6 billion in damages.

The good news? We still have 4 days to the start of hurricane season. The bad news? The early NOAA predictions call for the busiest tropical season on record. :-/

Lots of hail yesterday. Some golf ball size but mostly marble size. So far today only rain and wind. All the bad weather was north and east of me.

We are at our Collin County place, what a mess. Most of the roads closed. The generator is humming along nicely. As soon as it quits raining going to head out with chain saws to see if I can assist, wish I had the CAT 416D here.
