I don't know. I saw the signs as I was coming in to Richmond, VA while on vacation last week. That stupid name had me stumped until I stopped for the night and could look it up. That was when I saw that Benning was renamed to Moore.

Fort Bliss and Fort Hood also changed. To names far less memorable.
Gotta fix this stuff.

I may be mistaken about Fort Bliss. Here is a list:
