It went to the range. And the young lady did very well with my rifle. I was impressed. The group shown were her second thru 4th magazines. The outer holes are from her 1st.

Yes. Use the bag instead of muscles. Much finer corrections. And yes, I watched her hand and her finger on the trigger, an accutrigger, very light. Destinct pauses between touching the blade, taking up slack and gentle increase of pressure on the trigger. She caught on really quick. She improved with each magazine too.
She did good with pistols when I could get her to slow down. All we had was semi-autos. She really relaxed and took her time with the rifle though. And she shined.
Just don't ask what the joke is though. Darkpriest might shoot me.
At one point she was having a hard time relaxing so I ask if she wanted to hear a joke. So I told her two words. Thought she would laugh out loud but she managed to fight it back. Got me a big smile though.
Made my day.
It was worth getting up at the crack of dawn for.

Lots of people there or the usual?
All the tac and pistol bays were being used and 7 on the pistol/sight in range. 200 yard was empty though. Most had left or were packing up by noon.
The last 3 times I went in the afternoon, We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. My oldest will probably join at the next meeting.
