    Lost in East Texas Elhart Texas
    Hate not sleeping well. I have a procedure to implant a port tomorrow or today at 10 am. Simple procedure I guess but still they all stress me. My veins are shot from chemo and I still have 2 cycles to go. They say they will recover but the last 2 chemodays it took 4 and 5 pokes to get a good vein and that was just chemo lite for during radiation. Full blast chemo is 3-5 hour days and it makes my veins hard and painful so I'm getting the port for these last 2 cycles.

    It sounds like the chemo drug shortage is abated somewhat but for God sakes, to have a shortage of any drug or baby formula in the United States in 2023 is completely unacceptable.

    Oh they never did run out of the chemo drugs that cost tens of thousands a dollars a cycle but the preferred platin drugs fir my cancer they ran out of. Bastards.
    camcer treatments are very expensive the wife's chemo is about three thousand dollars a week thank goodness her insurance covers it! she had a port put in a few weeks ago for her chemo treatments!
