Ya that liquid causes an immediate gag reflex with projectile vomiting. There is no way to get it down except for numbing your mouth and throat and holding your nose. My body knows it's a deadly chemical that should be no where near a human body.

    Well Texicans,

Had us another 2" of rain this afternoon...

Puts us close to 8" in the last three weeks....

For those that do not know....over 1 billion gallons of water, go over the Emsworth Dam ...on a normal day...(first lock on the Ohio)...

Then of course the Beaver River & Racoon Creek flow in ...before making the turn at the Ohio State Line...

That is Neville Island betwixt the channels...only locks are on the near side

    Question for you Mark.

Who counted the gallons of water that goes over the Emsworth Dam in one day?
Also, how was the water counted? By the bucket? By the glass?

Curious minds want to know. I don't really give a dam, but I'm sure someone wants to know.

    Good question...

That is what we were taught when I was in high school....

At that point in time? If? One went by tonnage? Pittsburgh was the busiest port in the world. River barges 24/7! Stone, ore, coal, oil, gravel, salt...Dravo even built barges for export...(their facility was on Neville Island)....

Plus...there is another river (River #4/aquafier?) under neath the three rivers you can see...

Betwixt the locks? They hold "back" NINE FEET of water for riverine navigational duty....(technically the dams are about 20'...18' of water in the "pool" with a bit over)

Still a fair bit of river boat traffic downriver from Beaver...some on the Mon...very little on the Allegheny these days...

This new Doctor has me doing pills and liquid.
Suprep? I was once so constipated I got a dose of that stuff and downed it without hesitation. It took several hours before it began but things eventually started moving. It wasn't so bad.

    Sis, otoh, has this attitude...
I have had one. And that was enough. I'll just roll the dice.....
...and nothing will change her mind.

Different people react differently, I guess.
