I have 3 meds plus I used ginger ale, real ginger ale not with just flavor, ginger chews and ginger tea. The meds are compazine, Phenergan and ondasteron

The nausea is debilitating but it does come on a regular schedule, for me at least. Days 3 and 5 after infusion. The good side is throwing up makes you feel better for a while.

Can the doc prescribe meds for her?

You gotta take them regularly weather nauseous or not. If you wait till you get sick you will always be chasing it and never getting complete relief. I learned that the hard way.

When I get infused they start with a short acting and Long acting nausea med. I start the oral meds that night before I get sick and keep taking them regularly for 5 days. You never aren't sick but the puking is kept to a minimum.

The real ginger ale and teas help too.
