Morning all, a trip down memory lane for the heat adverse folks here.
Dallas PD circa mid 60's. Black squad cars with no AC, 3 on the tree. Dark Blue uniform with long sleeve shirts, tie. Mandatory wearing of uniform hat when in uniform, even in squad car. Black dress shoes, black socks. No wearing uniform home. When coming to station to change or leaving must be in casual attire, slacks, button shirt, long or short sleeve, tucked in, dress shoes. No jeans, boots, t-shirts, or tenny runners. Military haircut. No facial hair except a mustache not extending past the corner of the mouth or covering upper lip.
No snowflakes.
