This may give you an idea of how stuff gets counted and tabulated. Its not random numbers pulled from thin air.

They watch videos, look at photos, check the metadata to confirm locations and times then see if it has been counted and if it checks out, they add it to the list.

Note the russian T-80BV noted as sunk... it went into the water west of Robotyne and gave russia another submarine...

Instagram has a video showing a second missile hitting. There was a photo (not sure if I posted it) showing the #2 missile a few hundred feet from striking, in a dive.

It is really impressive just how much get caught on camera these days.

Additional photos of the strike, showing the aftermath.

Don't know it's a satellite or drone, but the damage is pretty obvious when compared to the before photo.

The strike was during business hours so likely a large number of naval staff killed.

This strike is only about 1.2km from where Ukraine destroyed a Rapucha class landing craft (important for logistics in the area) and a Kilo class sub (that was used to launch ballistic missiles against Ukrainian cities).

A warning to the U.S., though.
Navies are not the only thing at risk.

One of the things that stopped the russian invasion and prevented them from utilizing the initial advantages in armor and airpower is the investment Ukraine made in anti-armor and anti-air systems that are man portable.

Without CAS, orc armored units assaulting Kyiv were repeatedly ambushed by tank hunter teams, struck with Byraktar drones and then ran home after heavy losses.

WWI bogged down due to the effectiveness of machine guns and artillery, leading to the invention of tanks and the utilization of aircraft and new doctrines using stormtroops

Ukraine bogged down due to the (significant) neutralization of tank and aircraft, which seems to have lead to smaller, expandable aircraft (drones) and smaller assaults that mimic stormtroop type tactics of taking small bites, holding the gains then widening out the penetration using the same tactics.

There will be many, many lessons in doctrine and leading to many new technologies.

Good time for Norway and Japan to invade Russia? ;)
Japan has legitimate claims on a number of islands the soviets invaded and kept at the end of WWII

Finland might could get some land they lost in the winter war

Poland might like to have Königsberg back

I wish them all the best of luck
