Everyone I know who had either a Toyata Tundra or Seqouia swapped them out for a more fuel efficient truck, which in today's market means Ford, Chevy, Ram, and GMC.

My '05 Dodge Ram 2500 with a 5.9 Cummins still delivers 21 highway mpg, without any chips or other performance gimmicks.

Got rid of my Avalanche for a VW Jetta wagon TDI.

I can still haul stuff and get 40mpg.

Of course, it isnt as durable as the Ave off road, but I never really went there anyway.

Plus if I need to I can still take my Envoy.

Got a Tundra 5.7 4x4 in December 2012. Love it really, test drove the F150 and Ram 1500. But settled down with a tundra. I know if I drive it for next 15 years it still wont break down.

P.S Buying a $30k - $50K truck and talking about gas mileage is epic fail. Just drive it for fun and you will love it
BTW with all the mods I get 10-13mpg city and 16-18 Hyw

Ever tried working on one? Nope. No need to. Mine's got 200k on the clock and never had to do other than routine maintenance. Haven't had to rebuild a transmission, let alone three times. All it's ever had was oils, filters, belts, hoses. Doesn't leak, doesn't burn oil. Purrs like a kitten at idle and screams like a wild banshee when you go full throttle. Runs as good as the day I got it. Excellent ride. Hauled plenty of trailers without any issues. Have had a ton of payload in the bed and it's only asked for more. Got plenty of room too. I'm 6'3" and ~380lbs and I've got no problems fitting in it.

zgood for you. We dont work on them anymore that and the ford diesel..

'12 Ford F-150 SuperCrew with the 5.0 V-8. I routinely get 18+ mpg, mostly highway mileage. Plenty of punch when I want it, plenty of manners, very comfortable.
