It's funny how all those old neighborhoods were made up of people from a certain European city and no one cried about it.,For the most party the were not diverse one bit, but that's totally ok for a very long time. Sure there were newer neighborhoods that had a mix of those of European ancestry, biut not the old ones. Even wilder was the fact that so many of this people back then lived on walking distance to were they worked.

my wife is from there, i grew up 90 miles west of there, I worked there for several years

we used to love Chicago


@Lead Belly, we have different points of view

1. it WAS (not is) a world class city… wouldn’t take a trip or a family member there for all the money in the world right now

2. problems are NOT easy to fix… it (Chicago) is way past the tipping point and unrepairable


However, it’s sad no matter what the point of view on repairability
