This. Cycling the springs is what wears them out. Keeping them loaded or unloaded doesn't affect spring life.Use and, or, abuse is what hurts a magazine. Compression and decompression in other words. Leaving them loaded won't hurt 'em.
Same here. I have kept my Glock 17 loaded since I got it in 1993. Still works fine, no broken springs. I don't shoot it that often, so there may be 3 years of just sitting with mag loaded.Interesting.
I've still got my G23, and G27 from the early 90s.
