If you use it enough, you will test that battery to the limits.( I actually do use my lights very frequently , nightly even) and it was a $137.40 light ;)

If it wears out, I will find out well before 2 years have passed.

Wearing out within 2 years is not so much the issue, it's how much does it cost to maintain / replace.

    While I can't beat the $119, I just won & paid for a NIB E2D LED Ultra 1000/5 @ $158. Should be here Wednesday, I'm stoked!

I had an x300 on one of my glocks. I traded it away with a gun and got a TLR1HL from stream light. I love that light but want the extra lumens so I’ll be buying an X300 on Friday for my duty gun

I was going through CR123s almost weekly. I started using the 18650 rechargeable battery in my Fury Dual Fuel ( 1500 lumens) and started saving about $3 per week.
    $3 per week x104( 2 years)
= $312 that I haven’t spent on batteries, and if a SureFire 18650 fails, 2 year replacement as well.
I figure with the Stiletto moving into the every night light, that $312 savings conveys to it. YMMV

You’re really going to like it
I'm sure I will. Never thought I'd have a $200 back up light (original E2D).

Made in Cali(?), bought from a company in Florida, damn thing shipped outta Delaware.

A pair of batteries last me months! 4, 5, 6? Never tracked it. My 1st box of 20 or 24 lasted at least 8yrs.

Clearly rechargeables makes sense for you. Are you using SF chargers & batts? If not, whose? Any issues with them?
