I think i read where Abbot said he would run only if Perry was not

so my assumption is that Abbot will be in the mix

I lost a lot of respect for Dewhurst after the campaign he ran against Ted Cruz. I lost the remaining respect watching his total loss of control during the Abortion debacle.

Dewhurst is weak and just plain wrong for Texas.

not sure what he could have done better on the mob during Davis' filibuster - that was a media and political nightmare that was best allowed to play out like it did

but definitely agree on the campaign - just awful - the sole reason i voted for Cruz

I guess my point is that as President of the Senate it is his job to maintain order and decorum. He failed miserably.

Bob Bullock wouldn't have put up with that shit.

I had a suspicion that he was a slimeball before that, and the ridiculous smear campaign he waged against Cruz confirmed it. Dewhurst needs to go.
