Gee, this thread is filled with babble-nonsense.

I suggest you all go visit your Family Pharmacist for advice on these concoctions.

So I’ve finally pulled the trigger on an order for 3 x 32 OZ of 99% isopropyl alcohol. We’ve hit multiple outlets over the last several weeks and I just decided **** it. We need some and so it’s in route. Guess we’re gonna make our own hand sanitizer so I got Aloe Vera gel coming as well. The aloe wasn’t a bad price but the damn alcohol delivered is about $20 per 32oz bottle. That’s a little much IMO.

For the last couple weeks our HEB has been selling off brand "hand sanitizer" that is according to the label just 80% IA minus any type of gel for around $6 in the standard clear liquor bottle size.

    To All,

IF you have a DOLLAR GENERAL near you, the stores (at least in San Antonio), have a LOT of 91% rubbing alcohol at 2.99 per quart.
(I bought 2 quarts last Friday.)

    yours, satx

Once again.....check your local liquor stores.......many distilleries are producing hand sanitizing alcohol now and selling it through outlets (Spec's) at reasonable prices.

That's what I believe the off brand hand sanitizer I've seen in my HEB was.
