That criminal was deserving of NO customs or courtesies.
More rabid talking heads from "the other side" are saying that this is an insult from the US - blah, blah, blah - and will result in more attacks on the US.
Newsflash!: They never needed an excuse. They hate us anyway, and have avowed violence towards us. And there's still a whole lot of them!
To say that this event is a singular catalyst for retribution is extremely naive.

I understand that under current EPA rules, a sewage treatment pond is now a "navigable waterway." Burial at sea . . . great idea.

As far as I'm concerned that man committed genocide against other Muslims, so he shouldn't even be considered a Muslim let alone deserve to be buried in the ground. I think that what these scholars are getting at is that al qaida or other osama fans might find this insulting and retalliate even harder now, not that it was offensive or for the sole purpose of insulting Muslims.

For the most part, we Muslims are happy that the fucker is dead. What he did was not for Islam or jihad, he's bouncing around on the devils fiery cock right now.

Excellent post, and exactly the position the US government should take if they haven't already. Obama already stated Usama was "not a Muslim leader; he was a mass murderer of Muslims. Indeed, al Qaeda has slaughtered scores of Muslims in many countries, including our own. So his demise should be welcomed by all who believe in peace and human dignity."

Usama didn't deserve a respectable funeral, and he was lucky to be treated with as much dignity as he got. The bastard was sending kids to their deaths while he hid in a compound in Pakistan. He had no honor no matter what religion he claimed to be following. The man was a terrorist and now he is the best kind of terrorist there is...a dead one!

And as for his "followers" that want to avenge his death, we got Usama, and we can get you too! Just look up and maybe you'll see that Hellfire that's got your name on it!

I wanted to see him drug through the streets of New York and the remains buried under the replacement for the twin towers so that his soul feels the weight of American superiority forever ... especially while he is being rectally raped with a cactus.

Yeah. Anytime the US does anything, the Muslims claim they are being wronged.

I don't want this to become a religious discussion... just thought it was typical.

I figured something like this was coming. No matter what we do they'd find fault with it. Meh, life goes on and I give the clerics the finger....

You know, after the meteor hits and wipes out 90% of humanity, I'm going to nominate you for sheriff in the little community we get together from the aftermath....

    This.

But oh, that would "lower us to their level!" No, it wouldn't. As soon as we purposely target innocent non-combatants, then you can make that argument.

Good and evil are very real, and it's very easy to tell which side we're on.

So Islamic Clerics question the burial. To me that implies that OBL was a Muslim worthy of defending on religious bases in these esteemed Cleric's views. So, these Clerics represent the religion of peace and have no condemnation of a mass murderer of all denominations, a coward that sends children to their death as suicide, terrorist bombers while he sits comfortably in his mansion. What kind of "Clerics" are these??????

Perhaps the best post I've read in many years on any forum.

It was brilliantly effective to be said by a member of our community:

"For the most part, we Muslims are happy that the fucker is dead. What he did was not for Islam or jihad, he's bouncing around on the devils fiery cock right now."

From now on, I'll borrow your phrase to describe any ideologically challenged sociopaths of any belief or creed, especially socialist democrats.

    Well done, Sir!

    Be well.

You have to remember they still live in the 13th century, and can't drag their lazy ass's out of it.

Dam they still squat to use the bathroom over a frickin hole in the floor.

I'd like to ask the reverse question: How much attention to religious sensitivities did the Muslim radicals show Daniel Pearl or any of the other innocents they beheaded in the name of their "cause"?
