I've been to the one on 1604 at Potranco on the west side of S.A., and it was just barely ok. But the one in Austin just south of downtown at I-35 and 71/290 was completely 100% terrible the one time I ate there.

Regardless of location, there are many better choices for bbq.
All of their terrible meat labeled bbq is mass boiled in a single SA factory. The stores only serve up what arrives in the back of a truck.

No better or worse than other chain joints (Dickys, Spring Creek, etc). It’s been around 20 years since I’ve been there but it wasn’t good back in the day either

We eat a Bill Miller's frequently. The BBQ is better than Rudy's. Yeah, I said it, but we were all thinking it.

The chicken, fries, cole slaw, and green beans are excellent. The other meat is good, too. Breakfast tacos and onions in vinegar at the condiment bar are excellent.

I don't know about Bill Miller's BBQ but I do know that Terry Black's new BBQ place in Wacko Waco, selling a lb. of brisket for $31.99, had sure better hope that they bring in a lot of those Magnolia suckers, because nobody in their right mind, especially the cheap asses in Wacko Waco are going to pay that kind of price for burnt animal flesh. $31.99 a lb. for brisket? Quit pissing on my leg and telling me that it's raining!!!

    The Millers are good folks.

But there ain't a jury in the land that could find any evidence to convict them of serving bbq.

Simply horrible meat, poorly prepared. Just happens to have some bbq sauce poured on it.
Is that watered down ketchup called "BBQ sauce" there?
