I'm looking for good reasons to own a 1911, what are they?

Definitely depends on what you get. Mine was a bit on the spendy side, but with no malfunctions as of yet, and the way she shoots, it was worth every penny.

Thats odd. Ive never had one but everytime I pick one up I can rapid fire a 4-6 inch group at 15.

Pimp Daddy was a 3-4 inch group.

My s&w revolvers and Sigs work just fine for me. No doubt some training would have helped. I wish I had realized we were incompatible before trying all the bushings and barrels.
