    My shocked face

    Yep. This shit has been known by the Covid community since 2020. People dying from heart attacks, cancer, even car accidents, if they were suspected of just having symptoms only, primary cause of death = Covid.

    On March 24th, the NVSS, under the direction of the CDC and National Institute of Health (NIH), instructed physicians, medical examiners, and coroners that COVID-19 would:

    • be recorded as the underlying cause of death “more often than not;”
    • be recorded as the cause of death listed in Part I of the death certificate even in assumed cases;
    • be recorded as the primary cause of death even if the decedent had other chronic comorbidities. All comorbidities for COVID-19 would be listed now in Part II, rather than in Part I as they had been since 2003 for all other causes of death.

    Ok. I'm out of the loop on this detail. What does the fact that it was a "covid" death have to do with the cost of a funeral? Is there some type of subsidy?
    FEMA is handing out checks for up to $9k for funeral expenses if Covid death

    Well I still have a slight lack of taste...
    I've begun to resign myself to the fact that my taste buds are permanently screwed. Almost nothing tastes right and I am 10,000% more sensitive to spicy foods than I ever was before. For a guy who used to pop whole jalapenos as a snack, my new reality that something with a heavy coat of pepper can be too hot to eat is truly heartbreaking.

    Some of my favorite foods are no longer and some are just fine while coffee smells like dog piss. Just the smell of it ruins my day because once I smell it I can almost taste it and that lasts all day. Ear nose and throat Specialist said I had a nasal infection he gave me antibiotics. That was almost two years ago I never went back.

    I definitely understand this.

    Once I was made aware of my health issues, and started taking all the medications, I developed heartburn problems and can't enjoy anything spicy anymore.

    Obviously this is nothing to do with covid.
