I've read a few "bad reviews" but they were also promoting EoTech over Aimpoint. All the reviews I read from the AP users were really positive. For my dollar and intended use the AP-PRO looks like it's gonna fit the bill.

I also have an xps-2-0 and although it is a good optic, the pro wins for obvious reasons.
