I spotted Gecko45

Went to an unnamed range to play with my new G43 and did a double take when I saw an RO in full ISIS eradicating gear. Plate carrier, PMAGs, CAT TQ, hydration module, 5.11 tuxedo, you name it. Apparently sweeping brass and hanging targets is a super serious operating environment. It was painfully obvious this was a modern day Gecko45 but I can see some new shooter being off put by this.

Is he really working there or just cleaning up his brass?

I've met a lot of the RO's there and don't remember this one. CoachRick would know for sure.

In fact, one of the RO's was INCREDIBLY helpful when I was sighting in a rifle at 25yds to get on paper. He really was ex-military/ex-police, and had the demure demeanor to go with that reality.

Oh I love the staff there, don't get me wrong. I've gotten some great advice and help, just never ran across this dude before. Might be just helping, there were several staff working and doing 1-1 training.

Shady oaks. Looks kind of like it. The only time I went there, the RSO was an older guy. Real nice too.
