They might not have gotten everybody, but a lot of people went down for this. Even the neighbor who made false 911 calls and statements (which is what really put them on the cops radar in the first place) got 40 months in prison.

Agreed. It cannot be undone or compensated for regardless of how many people they put in jail, execute, or pay. I remember when it happened. It smelled then. But that's all they can do.

I feel for all of them. I was once falsely accused by a Cop, too. And he knew it & did it on purpose.

You would think - but his sentence means he'll die in prison. IIRC he's got to serve 2/3 of his term before he'd be eligible to parole out due to the nature of his crimes. It'll also save the tax payers money by housing him "normally" versus putting him to death and paying for all his appeals.
