Is FMJ Rifle ammo allowed on the range?
Also are they ok with steel jacketed ammo? Some might think this is a stupid question but you'd be surprised though it seems it's mostly indoor ranges that aren't ok with it.
Rather than cover all the types of ammo that will be allowed, JD told me what ammo IS NOT allowed, the list is short.

    Ammo Not Allowed:
Steel jacket on 200 - 600 yard steel targets
    Tracer rounds

They will allow incendiary rounds however,
depending on potential damage threat to property, this may be stopped at owner's discretion.

I was blatantly obvious in keeping my revolver brass at the 1st meet and no one said anything. Others kept their brass too.
The Hicks are good, reasonable people so I'm gonna go out on a sturdy limb here and say that if you bring it in, it's yours to take out.
I really can't imagine them saying anything unless someone tried to 'clean' the range of brass.

I think I asked about this when speaking with them before the first meet out there. IIRC they have no problem with picking up YOUR brass but don't want you running around grabbing every piece of brass that hits the ground.

It just got "iffy". New project popped up that covers most of Oct. As soon as I get full schedule I'll update. I'll make every effort to attend.

Thanks for the update, looks like I got some shopping to do or just shoot a lot with the .22 conversion lol I only have one box of non steel cased .223 right now.

I went out there last weekend...may go out tmorrow again. It's pretty slick with the new setup. That shotgun lane is pretty badass. It sure beats just standing there and shooting, but there's still room to do that too if you're just trying to work your shotgun.
