Those are sharp little pistols. I have two of the bull barrel 22/45s but those Lites are tempting.The Ruger 22/45 Lite looks like a dandy.....

In this case, I don't mean electronic. I mean crap. I have a Canjar Lite-Pull that hasn't been used in decades. It can be safely adjusted to 1 ounce. At that weight, it can't be set off by slamming the bolt closed or bumping the firearm. It's very safe at those light pull weights. However, safety and reliability of the trigger are its only virtues. It's a really crappy trigger when it comes to the way the let-off feels and how well it can be controlled. For a bench gun, though, that's not a big problem.
No, for that center-grip gun, 6 oz. is about where I like a trigger, whether I'm using it offhand or from position. There's always the possibility of touching a trigger prematurely while setting up for a shot, so I like the trigger of that type of gun to have a bit of weight and feel.

Orbitup, I really liked that Model 12. I'm going to have to track one down and see about getting into shooting clays on a regular basis! Also, thank you for shots with the Colt and Smith. That Smith is in excellent shape.
