I have a well house that I keep from freezing in the winter. I keep a ceramic heater on about 55 degrees which keeps the well and the feral cats cozy during freezing nights. The heater will automatically cut off if tipped over.

We have a couple heat lamps in the corner of the deck under the eaves and a radiant heater in the chicken coop. Need to get some bowl warmers though, pain in the butt to break up the ice all the time.

Yes, I’m looking for a heated CAT house!

I am giving sanctuary to an adult, neutered, unwanted cat that was on his way to the shelter - and almost certain euthanization. He will have the run of the place and I’ll feed him and provide the necessities for the time he has left.

Since he will be outside all the time, I need recommendations for a heated shelter as winter approaches. A quick look at Amazon yielded options from about $75 to Holy Crap$$!

Most seem to operate on the principle of a heating pad activated by the weight of the cat.

Anybody have and real-life experience with any particular brand or model?

    Thanks in advance.
I may have one left over in CO. I am going up there next week if around I'll drag it back for you, must pay shipping or pickup in Granbury. The guy with the Igloo idea is spot on
