Found me a Kimber SIS Pro the other day. Have not had a chance to take it to the range as of yet but hopefully will get to on Sunday.

    ^ great pics!
    Thanks!

    Dang.
How do you guys get such great photos of your guns?
It's all about the lighting! I have a website/blog sort of thing that I try to explain my lighting setup and give tips on taking nice gun pictures. Staufhammer | Firearms and Photography I'm busy searching for a job right now, so I haven't had a chance to update lately, but...

A weapon light on a suppressed .22? Dare I ask the purpose? ;-)
Obviously because I'm afraid of spiders! :machine:

It was just to make a more interesting picture. It's actually a fake can at the moment, that I bought for my Savage Mk II FV-SR to make it look less awkward with the scope I have on it until I can afford a real can. And that light bounces between my AR and my Glock, it's just on there for the picture.

Damn Whisky, you two just keep scoring awesome firearms. Congrats to the wife. I still want a Guncrafters no name. Someday it shall be.

I'd have to think that my GI NN may be the best of the lot.....(?) - but it may be the coco grips that I like (vs the g10s on the NH Enforcer) - otherwise they're basically the same pistol

Thanks for the info. I think I learned enough to greatly improve my gun photography.

And good luck on the job hunt. What kind of job are you looking for?
Very cool, good to hear! :) It's always a work in progress; hopefully I'll get some stability soon and be able to put more time into it.

Thank you for the well-wishes as well. I'm looking mostly for something in software or IT; I just finished my master's in computer science. Lots of interviews in the past month or so, just no bites yet.

    Couple of old pictures:

This is an older photo of a disassembly I did a few months ago. I basically did what some company charges $100 to do and polished all metal OEM parts to lighten up the trigger pull instead of investing $150 in a whole new trigger assembly. Not to mention it was a good opportunity to clean all the gunk in the trigger housing and other crevices. It's not too often that I strip it all the way down so I figured it would be a perfect time for a picture.
