Lots of character. Looks like a 1970 or '71. Mine (the parkerized one) was also an Israeli. The parking came out really nice. I had the mag safety removed, a 28 lb mainspring installed and the rear sight notch opened up a little. Voila! A good looking shooter that was formerly cosmetically challenged.

I removed the mag safety in mine, along with replacing all the springs with a Wolff kit. I really want to have mine milled for some Heinie sights and have it Melonited.

My new addition... Sig Sauer SP2022E. Picked it up yesterday at Academy, got the 9mm version of it. I will enjoy shooting it soon at the new Eagle Gun Range in Lewisville, TX!!!

Although I favor 1911s, I really like shooting a friend's 2022. Very nice especially for the price.

Today, my brother picked up one of these. BEAUTIFUL gun, and it just feels great to hold. We found it at the PX on Ft Hood. I didn't think to take pics of the gun itself, but this is just as good. It's his first pistol. I think he did pretty good.
