It's probably not possible to put a number on it, but slide to frame fit would be the last thing to look at when chasing an accuracy issue. In a tilting barrel, locked breech handgun, how well the barrel locks into the slide determines accuracy from a fitment standpoint. The only way slide to frame fit is really going to effect accuracy is if the barrel lockup isn't as good as it could be or if the slide is traveling a significant amount before the bullet has left the barrel.keep hearing that slide to frame fit only accounts for around 10-15% of accuracy. Never understood the reason why people serrate or checker the back area though.

Is it just the lighting, or is that thing Grey? Also, that's an interesting rear sight on there. Do you know what year that gun was made? I haven't really seen much in the market for aftermarket sights for those.
