Really hope one of these guys other than BUL comes out with a 3.5 and a very slim single port comp.

Fwiw we shoot C2s with thr Dawson comp right now and we're looking for dedicated carry guns. CS or SFX9 likely, but we haven't gotten to shoot the Wilsons yet.

My dad had a 1990 F150 XLT Lariat in that same color combo. Almost explains why so many Hispanic people tried to buy it from him

This is a restoration of a true iconic gun, the Colt 1911 made in 1914. Chambered in .45 ACP made for the U.S. Army. This firearm no doubt seen the war theaters of WW1 & WW2. The barrel was replaced due to use I would assume. This gun was just rotting away somewhere until I acquired it and brought it back to life. One of the guys in our resort made me a set of mahogany grips for my 1911. The other side needs some refinement in terms of the cutout for the mag catch but otherwise they’re beautiful. He’s never done grips before and thought it would be a fun project.

My Battleship Texas grips arrived today, so I figured it was only fitting to put them on the very first firearm I acquired in a private sale (legally anyway), a stainless Springfield MilSpec I bought from a TGTer. At first, I didn't like the contrast of the grips on the stainless finish, but it's growing on me.
