I had the whole grip of my XDM covered in skater tape to keep it from moving in my hands. Then the slide lock kept getting tripped by my thumb and wouldn't lock back. Not to mention the poor quality of the mag springs.

oh sterling has had a slew of problems with damn near every 45 he's owned... he had 3 go down in one shooting meet in Bexar...

In all fairness, I think Sterling could make a rock malfunction.

I did infact call them Friday 2/17. The response was 'it is in line for repair. We take 4-8 weeks to complete them'. In other words, the script from the shipping instructions. Damnit I fell neckit w/o her!

I called Friday 2/24. The repairs have begun! He also said call next Wednesday for an update. Is there a fingers crossed smiley around here?

Nah, I figure at somewhere between 8 & 10K rds, it's just easier for me to send it to the factory for it's first cleaning and a little checkup.
