I think that it is a good idea for striker fired fans and especially Glock shooters. Same manual of arms, same shooting characteristics, same Glock trigger. I plan on renting one when my local range gets one in. As it stands I am quite happy with my Sig P938.

    Initial impressions:

This thing is about 10 years late to the game.

Six rounds? If its mags are like the 42 mags I'm sure they could have crammed on more in there.

Nicer trigger than most of its competitors, but that's not really necessary for this type of gun.

Kel-Tec better start coming up with plans to compete with this.

Unless I find one at a smokin' price I'll stick with my PF9.

I like it, and will likely add one to my collection. But, I'll stick with my shield for carry. The glock is thicker and longer than the shield, but a little shorter.

Beats me why anyone wants a glock 19 with less than half the capacity of a
    regular G19.From what I read,regular G19 isn't that hard to carry concealed.
    I CC a glock 30 gen 4.

G43 is the size of a Shield (generally), that is a considerably smaller gun than a G19.

If a person is willing and able to carry a larger gun, awesome.

If it's the size of a shield or larger I'm out. I want a pocket carry 9mm Glock. The shield is not pocket carry size IMO.

Here's a pic of the G42 and the G43 for size comparison.

i'll really need to get my hands on one and fire it before switching from the shield. I had a 26 and I just couldnt shoot well with it, I found the shield much easier shooting and softer recoil for the size.

neither the shield of the g42 are really pocket guns IMO, so i'm not expecting the 43 to be either.

I pocket carry my 42 every time I can pry it away from my wife.

Unless you wear skinny jeans or Wrangler nut hugger jeans, it's easily pocket carried.

I find in khaki's the grip is a little too long and tries to stick out of the top of the pocket. Really just depends on pocket size

The seemingly small difference in size makes a huge difference in comfort carry. I carry a G23 and sometimes a G22, so this is coming from someone who's definitely not sensitive to that kind of thing.
